Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Jennifer Forrester’s competitive spirit, passion for movement and commitment to helping others were developed at a young age.
She played a variety of sports as a child, including swimming, soccer and basketball. At age 8, she began to excel in track and field. Beyond continuing to enjoy running, Jennifer became a four-time prep All American. Her competitive nature helped her earn a full scholarship to compete as a sprinter at the University of Washington. To this day, Jennifer says running is still her exercise of choice.
Since graduation in 2008 with a degree in American Ethnic Studies, Jennifer has studied movements and developed her own unique approach to cross training with fun dynamics that keep your body guessing and engaged. Helping others, gain a new perspective and acknowledging that they are on a fitness journey uniquely their own is Jennifer’s greatest joy and strength. She believes revealing one’s personal strength and confidence empowers them to make healthier choices and create a more balanced life.
Jennifer and her former college track teammate started posting their synchronized workouts on Instagram as TwoBadBodies in 2014. Within a year, they gained more than 380,000 followers and became recognized as one of Instagram’s top fitness accounts. This social media outlet proved working out with a friend can make exercising much more exciting.
The opportunity of a lifetime presented itself when the Office of the First Lady asked TwoBadbodies to collaborate with Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Campaign. It was a natural fit to partner with the nationwide initiative aiming to create a healthier future for kids and families. The First Lady challenged TwoBadbodies to help spread the word by creating a series of workouts. They gladly accepted the challenge and posted their videos each weekend, challenging thousands to get up and move.
Jennifer has been featured in Vogue, Self, Cosmopolitan and many other publications and television appearances. She continues to privately train clients in Seattle and enjoys teaching them the tools they need to create their own balanced lifestyle.
